Indian IT major Wipro has partnered with American cloud security company Zscaler to launch Wipro Cyber X-Ray, an artificial intelligence (AI)- powered decision support platform.

Wipro Cyber X-Ray is intended to support enterprise chief experience officers (CXOs) in making optimised decisions regarding security investments and communicate cyber values to their senior leadership and board.

Wipro cybersecurity and risk services global head Tony Buffomante said: “Wipro Cyber X-Ray helps top management executives make more informed decisions based on the intelligence provided and validates if the cyber investment is helping them achieve the desired maturity.

“The platform also provides security processes, strategy, and performance benchmarking to help enhance organisations’ cybersecurity posture.”

The new AI-driven decision support platform will provide an intuitive executive dashboard for visualising cyber risk posture and implementing cyber initiatives.

Additionally, it will aid organisations in discerning over- or under-investment in security programmes, thereby delivering value.

Powered by Zscaler, Wipro Cyber X-Ray also delivers business intelligence. This empowers security leaders to effectively convey the value of existing cyber investments to the board through a cost vs. impact analysis.

Zscaler worldwide partner and alliances sales senior vice president Karl Soderlund said: “Wipro Cyber X-Ray, powered by Zscaler, is a compelling platform designed to give top management a single pane of glass view of the enterprise’s cyber risks associated with the business posture.

“While cybersecurity remains one of the core topics for the board and top management, cybersecurity leaders have been facing challenges to communicate easily understood value. Wipro Cyber X-Ray solves this challenge by providing insights and visibility into an organisation’s cyber health.”

In March this year, Wipro was selected by Canadian financial service company Desjardins to transform the latter’s credit solutions for members and clients.
