Xceptor, a data automation platform in the financial sector, has announced the expansion of its partnership with Danske Bank, Denmark’s largest financial institution. This alliance aims to enhance data automation processes using generative AI, aligning with Danske Bank’s Forward 28 strategy to optimise client offerings and operational efficiency.
The collaboration, which began three years ago focusing on streamlining tax reclaims, now encompasses a broader scope, including the automation of reconciliations and the integration of generative AI for data processing.
By deploying Xceptor’s advanced AI-driven data automation tools, Danske Bank seeks to deliver more efficient services, reducing costs and operational risks. The enhanced automation capabilities are expected to lead to fewer service disruptions, faster processing times, and improved data accuracy for the bank’s clientele.
Danske Bank Markets Post Trade Services & Markets Quants managing director Michael Holmgaard Mortensen said: “Our successful implementation of tax service reclaims has solidified our partnership with Xceptor, and we are now ready to advance to the next phase. By leveraging Xceptor’s advanced platform and generative AI, we are keen to enhance our offerings and customer service, now with a focus on reconciliations,”
Xceptor CEO Michiel Verhoeven said: “Our expanded partnership is a tremendous opportunity for Xceptor to support Danske Bank’s business growth strategy. By empowering Danske Bank with our advanced generative AI capabilities across both tax reclaims and reconciliations, we’re thrilled to play a key role in the Bank’s Forward 28 strategy through digitization, bringing tangible benefits to both clients and employees,”
Danske Bank, serving approximately 3.3 million customers across the Nordic region, is a full-service provider offering a wide range of financial solutions. Last year, the bank decided to migrate selected infrastructure, applications, and data to Amazon Web Services (AWS).
