Zocks, an artificial intelligence (AI) platform focused on enhancing privacy for financial advisers, has secured $13.8m in a Series A funding round.
This round was led by Motive Ventures. It also saw the involvement of existing investor Lightspeed Venture Partners and new investors such as Entrée Capital, Expanse Venture Partners, and 14Peaks.
The funding is designed to support Zocks in providing advisory firms with critical data insights while maintaining a personalised approach to client relations.
Motive Ventures principal Harsh Govil said: “We invested in Zocks because they are not just an alternative in this space—they are the enterprise-ready leader that financial advisers and firms need. Zocks goes beyond a sleek UX, delivering broader intelligence and workflow automation across both client servicing and financial products.”
Since its launch in early 2024, Zocks is said to have integrated over 1,000 advisory firms into its platform. The company has formed alliances with fintech solutions such as Wealthbox, Practifi, and Redtail.
It also maintains partnerships with enterprise clients like Carson Group, Osaic, RFG Advisory, and Cambridge Financial Group.
The newly acquired capital is set to accelerate the company’s expansion in product development, team growth, and market strategies.
Zocks plans to refine its AI tools over the next year, focusing on automating tasks such as email management, account application processing, and documentation handling. The company also intends to introduce advanced analytics features for deeper business insights and is exploring entry into the European market.
Zocks CEO and co-founder Mark Gilbert said: “The future of wealth management belongs to advisors who can harness unstructured client data and turn it into real-time intelligence.
“This investment allows us to accelerate AI-driven innovation, expand our team, and deepen our integrations, ensuring that Zocks remains as the industry’s most advanced solution for client intelligence and workflow automation.”
Founded in 2022, Zocks functions as an intelligent communication platform that captures essential data from advisor-client conversations. This aids firms in optimising time use, improving data accuracy, and streamlining operations.
Zocks synthesises information from all interactions to build comprehensive client profiles. It identifies actionable tasks automatically and integrates seamlessly with existing CRM systems while maintaining high privacy standards.
Additionally, the platform reduces advisors’ meeting times by 45 minutes on average through automation and standardises data capture across organisations.
In a recent development, Zocks announced a partnership with Osaic, a wealth management service provider in the US. This collaboration enables Osaic’s network of more than 11,000 financial professionals to access Zocks’ AI-powered platform.
The integration aims to streamline workflows and client communications while extracting meaningful insights from interactions. By adopting Zocks’ Client Intelligence Platform, Osaic professionals are expected to efficiently gather key client information while ensuring rigorous privacy and security measures are upheld.
