Denmark-based financial technology company SimCorp has entered a strategic partnership with Yield Book, a US-based LSEG analytics business SaaS platform.
Yield Book is a part of the London Stock Exchange (LSEG’s) Data and Analytics division.
It provides fixed-income models, analytics, and data products, that offer analytical insight into a wide range of financial products in the fixed-income space.
The products include government and corporate bonds, US municipal bonds, mortgages and asset-backed securities and a wide variety of derivatives.
Established in 1971, SimCorp is a subsidiary of Deutsche Börse Group and provides integrated investment management solutions.
With more than 3,500 employees across five continents, the company provides its integrated platform, services, and partner ecosystem to the top 100 financial companies.
Its Axioma analytics suite comprises a suite of factor risk models, multi-asset enterprise risk management, portfolio construction, and regulatory reporting solutions.
The partnership builds on SimCorp’s collaboration with LSEG Data & Analytics, initiated last year, focused on market and reference data.
Through the partnership, SimCorp’s clients can integrate the Danish company’s Axioma risk solutions with Yield Book to deliver best-in-class analytics for securitised debt.
The integration provides SimCorp clients with access to fixed-income analytics, including risk forecasting, sensitivity analysis, stress testing and factor-based risk decomposition.
The capabilities will help institutional investors access the risk factors that are unique to this asset class and help them make better investment and risk decisions.
Furthermore, Yield Book will enable quick access to LSEG data across the SimCorp One platform, allowing mutual clients to effectively execute data-driven decision-making.
SimCorp managing director and Americas head Allen Zimmerman said: “This partnership extends the depth of our fixed income capabilities by leveraging Yield Book’s market-renowned prepayment models and analytics directly within our products to support the most sophisticated fixed income and multi-asset managers.”
LSEG Analytics group head Emily Prince said: “The integration of Yield Book’s best-in-class fixed income analytics with Axioma Risk enables more clients with market-leading data, analytics and risk management tools at their fingertips.”
