Sapiens International, a global software solutions provider for the insurance industry, is enhancing its presence in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland).
As part of its business expansion strategy, Sapiens has amplified its property and casualty (P&C) and digital products portfolio and enlarged its sales and support team in the region.
The company’s operations in the DACH countries have notably grown since its acquisition of sum.cumo, a Germany-based technology provider, in 2020. The integration of sum.cumo has facilitated Sapiens to broaden its range of digital transformation solutions to insurers of various sizes, utilizing sum.cumo’s policy management system.
Sapiens is currently collaborating with significant entities in the DACH region, offering its IDITSuite solution to companies like Mercedes Benz Versicherung, which provides warranty insurance products in Germany.
The insurance software solutions provider is also providing a comprehensive cloud-based software solution to Vereinigte Hagelversicherung, a European leader in agricultural insurance with a total insured sum of €14.2bn. This collaboration is initially focused on Germany, with plans for a multi-country rollout in the future.
Sapiens CEO Roni Al-Dor said: “Sapiens is already providing many insurers across the DACH region with the tools, knowledge and expertise necessary to thrive in a rapidly evolving and increasingly digitised industry.
“The German insurance industry is one of the largest in the world, with total premiums exceeding €220 billion annually, and we are well-positioned to capitalize on this by offering our Core, Digital, Data and Reinsurance SaaS solutions.
“This is yet another example of Sapiens establishing its footprint, strong customer base and teams to the international markets, focusing our commitment to providing the highest quality products and services to our customers throughout the world.”
