Infosys Finacle has been selected as the preferred partner by Belgium-based online bank Keytrade Bank to modernise its core banking system.

Through the engagement, Keytrade Bank seeks to replace its legacy platform with Infosys Finacle suite.

Infosys Finacle, which provides digital banking solutions, is part of EdgeVerve Systems, a fully-owned subsidiary of Infosys.

Keytrade Bank, which is headquartered in Brussels, is part of French banking group Credit Mutuel Arkea.

Infosys Finacle is expected to support the bank to advance its digital maturity, which will facilitate improved innovation, operations, and customer engagement.

Infosys Finacle chief business officer and global head Sanat Rao said: “With Finacle, Keytrade Bank has a core banking solution that has proven itself around the world for accelerating innovation, driving automation and operational excellence, and helping deepen customer engagements.

“This collaboration marks yet another milestone in our expanding presence in Europe and underlines our commitment to helping European banks stay ahead in the digital age.”

The partnership will optimise Keytrade Bank’s core banking ecosystem for increased efficiency, faster roll out of products to the market, advanced technology architecture, and to enable the optimal customer experience.

Besides, the Belgian online bank will leverage the Infosys Finacle suite in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) mode on the Microsoft Azure public cloud.

Keytrade Bank will also utilise Infosys Finacle’s open application programming interface (API) repository on cloud.

Keytrade Bank CEO Thierry Ternier said: “Our ultimate goal is to create value and satisfaction for our customers and employees. I am convinced that this program will be a major enabler in reaching those strategic goals.

“We have chosen Infosys Finacle as our partner for the programme because of their worldwide expertise, implementation plan, and price offering.”

In April 2023, Infosys Finacle helped Mongolian banking and financial services company XacBank to complete its digital transformation journey.
