The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) has announced the final group of signatories under the UK Stewardship Code 2020.
In total, 291 organisations are now recorded as signatories. Together, they are responsible for £57.3tn ($79.1tn) in assets under management.
The list is made up of 197 asset management firms, 75 asset owners and 19 stewardship service providers.

No further applications will be assessed against the 2020 Code. These signatories constitute the last group to report under that version before the UK Stewardship Code 2026 becomes the sole standard.
The 2026 Code came into force on 1 January 2026, with this year being a transition period rather than an immediate switch.
Under the interim arrangements, existing signatories that lodge a renewal application at any point in 2026 will continue to appear on the official list.
However, their recognised status will still be linked to the 2020 Code during this phase.
Organisations that are not on this final 2020 roster will only be able to obtain signatory status under the revised 2026 framework.
The FRC has said the 2026 version is the result of an extensive review and consultation process involving more than 1,500 market participants and stakeholders.
The FRC stated: “We are pleased to confirm this final cohort of organisations that have successfully reported to the UK Stewardship Code 2020.
“With 291 signatories now representing £57.3tn in assets under management, the Code continues to demonstrate its value in driving transparency for investors, underpinning confidence in UK markets.
“We listened carefully to over 1,500 stakeholders in developing the 2026 Code, and the result is a Code that maintains high standards while sharpening the focus on signatories’ stewardship activities and their outcomes. We look forward to supporting signatories through this transition.”
The regulator has also highlighted supporting material aimed at helping companies adapt their disclosures to the new regime.
