Wealth management platform FNZ has announced a partnership with full-service digital bank Virgin Money to introduce a new digital investment solution for UK retail investors.

The service has been built by Virgin Money Investments, a joint venture between Virgin Money UK and UK-based global investment company abrdn.

With several new features and capabilities, the new digital investment platform and mobile app will provide Virgin Money users with an improved digital experience.

The features and capabilities are expected to make investing simpler, quicker, and more convenient than before.

FNZ UK, Middle East and Africa CEO Alastair Conway said: “We are delighted to have partnered with Virgin Money to deliver this exciting digital investment platform.

“We have a vision of opening up wealth by providing wealth management platforms that make investing more transparent, accessible and personalized for everyone.”

FNZ provides customers with direct-to-consumer (D2C) propositions and new end-to-end digital experiences across multiple channels and is said to have a track record of complex platform implementations.

Along with providing Virgin Money with a front-end user experience, FNZ also offers comprehensive investment operations capabilities, including back-end operations, investor administration, and contact centre solutions.

Virgin Money is also expected to gain an advantage from the continued chance to update and broaden its offerings in the future, including the upcoming addition of a pension product.

Virgin Money Investments CEO Jonathan Byrne said: “Through our partnership with FNZ, we’ve designed our new investment service to be accessible and straightforward for everyone – whether someone is an experienced investor or investing for the first time.

“It’s important that consumers feel confident enough to make the most of their money, particularly during these challenging times.”

In February this year, FNZ agreed to acquire Luxembourg-based business-to-business (B2B) fund platform International Fund Services & Asset Management.
