Fidelity Investments has introduced two new technology solutions to support smaller and mid-sized registered investment advisors (RIAs) in their growth efforts.
The new all-in-one technology stack and an advisory bundle featuring streamlined managed account platform Fidelity Managed Account Xchange Essentials (FMAX Essentials).
FMAX Essentials provides a streamlined investment platform with a selection of Fidelity and third-party products, such as model portfolios and managed account solutions, at a lower cost.
This offering is designed to enhance advisory capabilities and investment planning for firms.
Fidelity Investments division Fidelity Institutional Wealth Management Services emerging RIAs head Noni Robinson said: “Technology has incredible power as a growth driver and firms that harness it best have dedicated the time to research, evaluate, and implement it at scale.
“Smaller firms and advisors launching their own business, however, often have fewer resources, which can put them at a disadvantage. Our offering takes the guesswork out of selecting a technology stack with solutions that support front-, middle-, and back-office employees at these firms.”
According to Fidelity, it developed the comprehensive solution that integrates essential tools to streamline advisors’ operations to help small and medium-sized firms establish a scalable technology infrastructure.
The special pricing and support models for the new all-in-one technology stack came as a result of Fidelity’s collaborations with financial planning solutions firm eMoney Advisor and advisor technology provider Advyzon.
This integrated solution combines several key components to support advisors in managing their businesses more efficiently.
eMoney provides collaborative financial planning capabilities, including single sign-on and document sharing while Advyzon offers a suite of operational and portfolio management software.
The new tool features Fidelity’s robust brokerage platform Wealthscape that facilitates account management, trading, and access to various integrations and reporting tools.
Fidelity also continues to offer access to its Integration Xchange, a digital marketplace featuring integrations from over 200 fintech companies and API analytics, allowing firms to tailor their technology solutions to their evolving needs.
