BravoTran, a payables automation platform that caters to freight forwarders, has acquired Keystroke.io, a company specialising in accounts receivable automation.
Keystroke.io is based in Phoenix, Arizona, and is focused on global logistics invoice settlement. The financial terms of this acquisition remain undisclosed.
The acquisition is set to streamline both payables and receivables capabilities for freight forwarders, a first in the industry according to BravoTran.
Keystroke.io provides solutions in accrual management, freight audit, and carrier integration services. It focuses on ensuring carriers are paid promptly and shippers receive accurate invoices while reducing the workload associated with processing invoices.
BravoTran’s acquisition of Keystroke.io aims to tackle common inefficiencies in accounts receivable processes that often lead to delayed payments and cash flow issues for freight forwarders.
These challenges include discrepancies in meeting customer billing requirements and costs associated with electronic data interchange (EDI) setups.
BravoTran CEO Tom Durrenberger said: “Keystroke addresses a known customer pain point.
“We’re implementing this capability across our customer base to offer an end-to-end solution that brings unified automation to both the payables and receivables functions, saving our customers time and money while positioning BravoTran to become the leading payables automation service for freight forwarders. There is no other competing product in the market.”
Keystroke.io’s platform offers a pre-audit system with a dashboard that displays outstanding invoice statuses and manages EDI connections through a single interface.
BravoTran claimed that its customers have reported significant improvements such as labour savings, accelerated cash flow, and enhanced financial controls from day one of implementing their solutions. The integration with Keystroke.io further strengthens BravoTran’s offerings by addressing invoicing challenges specific to the freight forwarding industry.
Keystroke co-founder David Haynes said: “This acquisition is a validation of the innovative product our team has built.
“BravoTran’s focus on solving real, tangible problems faced by forwarders in managing their finances made them a natural acquirer. We’re excited to continue to build the business together.”
In June 2025, BravoTran was chosen as the exclusive vendor for Röhlig Logistics across over 50 countries. BravoTran’s technology facilitates operations across different countries, currencies, and tax regimes, contributing to improved efficiency and financial control.
