Australian unified data preparation studio Zetaris has opened its second US office in San Francisco to boost the firm’s expansion in North America as well as to strengthen growth and client adoption.

Established in 2013, Zetaris offers easier, more accessible and faster data analysis for businesses, helping them to get valuable insights and stay competitive in the changing market.

It allows modern data integration styles including data virtualisation, real-time extract, transform, and load (ETL) and streaming for fast, low-cost migration and integration into Snowflake.

Zetaris CEO and founder Vinay Samuel said: “We have been focusing on taking our unique game-changing solution for the past year to global customers, showing them the power of our revolutionary approach to data analytics, which was built in Australia.

”The global response has been extraordinary, and we are growing rapidly in the US, with over half the company expected to be based in the US within the next year.”

Zetaris also helps institutions to reduce standard query times from eight hours to 30 seconds. It saves time, cost, and complexity along with reducing errors for organisations.

Besides, the Zetaris data preparation studio will let users instantly join and access data silos virtually, across their whole data ecosystem. It will also assure data governance and security by eliminating the need to move data.

The Australian company offers two free trial versions of its data virtualisation platform, which is now available on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.

Recently, Zetaris raised $30m in funding from In-Q-Tel, 72 Capital, Exto Partners, Vulpes Ventures Singapore and others. It is now valued at over $150m.
