Anodot, a US-based cloud cost management platform, has teamed up with OpenOps, a no-code financial operations (FinOps) automation company, to easily create custom optimisation workflows.

The collaboration will allow the integration of Anodot’s FinOps platform with more than 100 tools and platforms through OpenOps’ no-code automation platform.

Besides, the partnership addresses the complexities of cloud cost governance, which requires managing diverse cloud service provider (CSP) offerings, visibility platforms, and business systems.

OpenOps provides a unified no-code interface to connect these tools, offering FinOps teams a streamlined approach.

OpenOps CEO Amit Saar said: “The combination of Anodot’s exceptional visibility and recommendations, along with the automation enabled by OpenOps, can take any FinOps practice to the next level, ensuring streamlined FinOps processes and best practices can be put in place easily and reliably.”

According to Anodot, FinOps teams have always struggled with fragmented processes, relying on home-grown tools and grappling with ineffective communication between engineering and FinOps departments.

These challenges have hindered the development of robust and transparent remediation processes, said the company.

The no-code FinOps automation firm’s platform introduces versioned, repeatable, and customisable workflows that unify multiple cloud resources and integrations, ensuring a clear and consistent process across organisations.

Combining OpenOps’ flexibility and customisation with Anodot’s granular data insights and recommendations, the partnership enables more streamlined cloud cost optimisation.

FinOps teams will also be able to act on recommendations end-to-end, resolve issues, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) efficiently. This will allow the automation and scaling of their practice.

Anodot CEO David Drai said: “It’s been an exciting year of rapid growth for Anodot. Our partnership with OpenOps highlights the growing demand from enterprises and channel partners for solutions that tackle the challenges posed by disruptions at legacy providers.

“Together, we are embarking on the journey where our legacy competitors left off.”
