3Rivers Federal Credit Union (3Rivers FCU) has selected MeridianLink, a modern software platforms provider for financial institutions and consumer reporting agencies, to deliver seamless digital lending and account opening.

Through the engagement with MeridianLink, 3Rivers FCU has deployed MeridianLink Access and MeridianLink Opening to optimise its lending and account opening processes and improve member experiences.

The offerings are part of modern software platforms provider’s multi-product platform, dubbed MeridianLink One, which supports banks and credit unions to advance their digital progression and expedite growth.

3Rivers FCU share manager Logan Amstutz said: “Prior to working with MeridianLink, we found it challenging to get complete applicant information through our existing application portals, leading to longer processing times.

“However, with the adoption of the MeridianLink platform, we quickly optimised our processes, which led to an increased number of completed applications and loan conversions.

“We were able to cut down loan application times from two days to around two hours, improving our member experience, freeing up valuable time for our team to better serve more members, which is our ultimate goal.”

MeridianLink Access is said to be a highly configurable point-of-sale solution for account opening and loan origination. It will enable the credit union to personalise workflows for employees to spend more time directly developing tailored solutions for members.

Besides, MeridianLink Opening will allow 3Rivers FCU to provide multiple products within the same application. This will help its members to easily choose additional offers.

According to MeridianLink, the deployment of its products has improved efficiencies for members and credit union employees as well as created growth opportunities through increased product adoption.
