Zafin has partnered with OpenAI to incorporate ChatGPT Enterprise into its product development and delivery processes, aiming to boost the speed and quality of its offerings for banks.
This collaboration is part of Zafin’s strategy to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) deeply into its operations, allowing teams to focus on high-impact innovations.
Zafin’s use of generative AI aims to enhance internal workflows, reduce manual tasks, and provide a strategic advantage for both their staff and clients. The company has chosen OpenAI for its technological expertise and shared vision of human–AI collaboration.
According to the firm, the financial sector is currently under pressure from outdated systems, agile digital competitors, and changing customer needs. To address these challenges, Zafin is enhancing its platform’s capabilities to help banks offer personalised products swiftly.
The integration of AI across various stages of product design, quality assurance, and delivery aims to improve efficiency and maintain the precision required by banking institutions.
OpenAI enterprise and strategic sales head James Dyett said: “Zafin is a great example of how companies are using ChatGPT to transform how teams work.
“By embedding ChatGPT into their product development and delivery workflows, they’re accelerating innovation and creating more value for their customers across the banking sector.”
Zafin has identified three key areas for its AI initiatives. The first area focuses on improving collaboration through enhanced documentation and secure research workflows.
The other areas involve accelerating platform delivery by embedding AI in product design and quality assurance processes, and future development by building agent teams and secure connectors governed by enterprise standards.
Zafin AI and engineering head Branavan Selvasingham said: “By integrating Enterprise ChatGPT into our internal processes, we’re accelerating how we develop, design and deliver products and capabilities that help banks respond to customer needs with speed and precision.
“Our teams are using AI to streamline ideation, reduce complexity, and enhance decision-making as our clients push for growth and efficiency.”
Last month, Zafin introduced Transaction Enrichment, a feature designed for financial institutions that transforms transaction data into detailed insights. This addition to Zafin’s modular platform supports banks in providing personalised experiences and enhancing customer engagement.
It has been implemented at Commercial Bank International (CBI) in the UAE, where it helps customers gain greater visibility over their spending habits by categorising transactions and offering spending insights.
