Synpulse, through its technology arm Synpulse8, has implemented a specially designed front-end tool for relationship managers (RMs) at Kasikornbank’s (KBank) private banking division in Thailand.

This development, based on Synpulse8’s Wealth Cockpit, aims to enhance digital operations in wealth management and improve the service experience for KBank’s relationship managers and financial advisers.

The tool’s deployment is said to mark a vital part of KBank private banking’s strategy to digitise its services. Started in April 2024 and completed by December 2024, the project saw Synpulse creating a unified platform that optimises the customer investment journey.

Previously, multiple front-end systems limited the ability of relationship managers to provide efficient client support. The new platform overcomes these issues by streamlining workflows and offering a more dynamic user experience.

Plans are underway to extend its application beyond private banking to the retail sector, broadening its impact on KBank’s wealth management framework.

KBank private banking business strategy and enablement head Sujai Hanchaowong said: “At KBank Private Banking, we are constantly seeking ways to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our wealth management services. The implementation of Wealth Cockpit enables our relationship managers to access insights more quickly and make better-informed investment decisions—ultimately elevating the client experience.”

Wealth Cockpit integrates various tools into a single system, simplifying tasks for wealth managers. Traditionally dependent on numerous systems for onboarding, advice, and transactions, this platform offers a cohesive and efficient alternative that boosts productivity and client interaction.

Features of Wealth Cockpit include support for diverse investment assets, speedy localisation with up-to-date regulations, and both adviser and client access for data input. It also assists in portfolio management by generating investment proposals and tracking risk exposure.

An artificial intelligence (AI) assistant within the platform aids users in understanding products and accessing features, with plans to integrate external data sources like market insights.

Synpulse8 Co-CEO and Synpulse managing partner Salomon Wettstein said: “Wealth Cockpit is a game-changer for the wealth management space, providing a smarter, more efficient way for RMs to serve their clients. This go-live is a testament to our commitment to driving digital transformation in the financial sector in Asia.”
