Claritev, listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), has officially launched its partnership with Claims Care Revenue Cycle Management (CCRCM) to transform revenue cycle management (RCM) in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Claims Care is a division of Burjeel, a provider of healthcare services in the UAE and Oman.

This partnership follows the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed last month, marking Claritev’s entry into the MENA market. Core to the partnership will be the merging of Claritev’s advanced claims analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions with Claims Care’s regional expertise.

Burjeel group CEO John Sunil said: “Burjeel is committed to advancing healthcare delivery in the region, and this partnership with Claritev increases access to affordable healthcare in MENA.

“We believe in the power of collaboration to drive healthcare innovation, and this milestone positions us to deliver unparalleled solutions in healthcare services.”

According to Claritev, the integration of technology and data is vital for advancing global healthcare systems. Both firms are strategically positioned in their markets to address this need through collaborative efforts.

The partnership aims to enhance transparency, affordability, and quality in healthcare while minimising care costs. By streamlining reimbursement processes and reducing unnecessary denials, the collaboration promises to improve global workforce efficiencies within targeted business operations.

Following the MoU, the focus will now shift to developing innovative RCM solutions that incorporate Claritev’s technology in Advanced Code Editing and Decision Science into Claims Care’s operational RCM expertise.

Claritev anticipates that revenue generation in the region will commence in 2025.

Key aspects of the partnership include accelerated product development, where both companies will work together on a comprehensive roadmap to introduce cutting-edge RCM solutions tailored for the MENA market.

Additionally, operational synergies will be achieved through transitioning certain offshore business processes from Claritev to Claims Care, enhancing market alignment and operational efficiency.

Combining their strengths will facilitate improved financial process efficiencies and contribute to more affordable and high-quality healthcare services. This collaboration signifies an initial step towards expanding Claritev’s market offerings across the MENA region, supporting stakeholders amidst a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.

Claritev chairman, CEO, and president Travis Dalton said: “We are thrilled to partner with Burjeel and CCRCM a leader in the MENA region’s RCM sector, to combine state-of-the-art technology and services to enhance care, improve healthcare standards, and introduce innovative new solutions to the marketplace.

“Together, we will leverage our strengths to enhance the healthcare ecosystem, delivering value to providers and payors and prioritising what matters most – high-quality care for all patients.”
